Practice Makes Perfect (PMP) will be hosting our Educator Boot Camp this spring, from April 11th-13th, and again this summer, from May 30th – June 1st, at the Teach For America – New York office. Our three-day intensive workshop is open to all undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing a career in education, regardless of their major or field of study.

Educator Boot Camp is run by our Program Managers, Adam Merten and Karina Rodriguez, as well as our Chief Learning Officer, Lauren Reilly. All PMP training staff have taught in New York City’s most struggling schools at both the middle school and high school level and have a wealth of experience in grades K-12. Learn more about PMP’s CLO here.

The Educator Boot Camp was created to fill the skills gap for aspiring and first-year educators. Since our first priority with our Educator Boot Camp is to improve the caliber of the teaching profession, we are always looking for ways to make our skills camps more accessible. In an effort to maintain this commitment, we reserve a number of spots during every session for participants who need a partial or full scholarship. Before applying for the Boot Camp, please apply for our scholarship here.
